Day 12 - Thursday

🇦🇺
vanuit Australië
Norseman, what can i say; it's not much. We drove 200km to Esperance, a pretty straight road with salt lakes on the sides of the road. there were a few tyre places so we got a good price and bought 2 new tyres. I was fitted in no-time. We had a look in Esperance, did some shopping and headed to the Cape Le Grande National Park. Nice area but when it rains, it's not half as nice!! Both campings were full till after the weekend - its turns out to be a long weekend here with some sort of public holiday. So we had to turn back. What to do? Drive on, direction Albany, the next bigger town. Almost 450 of long boring road again, the little townships on the way are nothing more 3 houses and a shed. Sometimes you read a sign of a beach to the left.....56 km on a dirtroad, good for 4w drives but not for us. So finally we saw Cheyne beach 19km on a sealed road. Yeah, on the camping and walking to the beach. WHAT BEACH? The water looked great but 'the beach' is covered with stinking seaweed!! Not 1 spot of sand to be seen. Well, that means that we will be on the road again tomorrow, lookiing for a nicer place.

Dit is duidelijk een 'minder stuk' van jullie reis he? En wat verschilt die benzine prijs zeg! Wel fijn dat jullie 2 nieuwe banden hebben kunnen kopen. xx
